Fresh Oil of Wisdom Moments: Intregrity

What You Are Is As Important As What You Do
By Patricia Fripp
It was a sunny Saturday afternoon in Oklahoma City. My friend and proud father Bobby Lewis was taking his two little boys to play miniature golf. He walked up to the fellow at the ticket counter and said, "How much is it to get in?"
The young man replied, "$3.00 for you and $3.00 for any kid who is older than six. We let them in free if they are six or younger. How old are they?"
Bobby replied, "The lawyer's three and the doctor is seven, so I guess I owe you $6.00."
The man at the ticket counter said, "Hey, Mister, did you just win the lottery or something? You could have saved yourself three bucks. You could have told me that the older one was six; I wouldn't have known the difference." Bobby replied, "Yes, that may be true, but the kids would have known the difference."
As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Who you are speaks so loudly I can't hear what you're saying." In challenging times when ethics are more important than ever before, make sure you set a good example for everyone you work and live with.

Post from Pastor Oliver

The doctors said I need to make a choice today, after my daughter was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery...which life are we fighting for "YOUR DAUGHTER OR THE BABY?" I calmly told them with the holy ghost as my witness, I chose Jesus. My daughter is relaxing. The baby is resting (few problems), and the devil is raging. I CALL HIM JEHOVAH!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!

2010
ALERT! Deleting several folks that happen to be on my friend list. The bible says "How can two walk together except they agree". I don't agree with what some of you represent, the language you use, or the company you keep. In this sesason I will not be attached to; infectious agents, foolishness, gossipers, etc. You must be willing to come out, go up, then rock steady! That means don't lose your balance. Respect God.

Just to encourage the family, God will do everything he has promised in just a few days. Right before the release, the enemy will try to reverse what God has spoken into your life. You must understand the process is great but God is Greater and will not allow you to be ashamed before the enemy. Patiently Waiting and Watching, Expecting and Excepting God's next move. Be Blessed.

Good morning, everybody just blessing God for another day off abd a day that was promised to the righteous. Just to encourage FB family when you are tempted to take shortcuts you could be short cutting your destiny. You must understand that God has designed a plan for us and unless he changes his mind we must ask for strength in our place of assignment. Be one day or two years. Because after this.......! Amen

Understands that adversity births strength. Strength allows you to push past the present to get to the promise even when it gets uncomfortable. If you can stand the pulling God will pull you through!

God has a word for today. I hear God saying "Prepare Your Mind". Some of God's most effective servants were those who disciplined their minds for his service. Do not allow others to do your spiritual thinking for you. God has equipped you with what you need to guard your mind. Paul said there was a time when his thinking was immature but he prepared his mind to understand the truths of God.

Understands that after you have searched for a way out and find none, look again it may be that it does not look like what you expected. Oh! You're not crazy. God had to create a way of escape.
